How NetFusion Designs collects, uses, and protects personal information — written to be read rather than skimmed past.
Last updated: 1 August 2026
NetFusion Designs Inc. provides managed IT, cyber security, and technology consulting services to organizations across Canada and the United States. This policy covers personal information we handle through our website and in the course of providing services.
We are subject to Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, provincial privacy legislation.
From our website: your name, email address, phone number, company, and anything else you choose to tell us in a form or an email. If you begin filling in a form and do not send it, we may still receive what you had entered, so that we can follow up on an enquiry you started — tell us at info@nfd.ca if you would rather we did not. We also collect standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited.
Organization identification: when you visit our site, we may identify the organization or business associated with your visit, together with general analytics information such as pages viewed and referral source. We use this to understand interest in our services and to inform our business development. We do not use it to identify you as an individual.
In delivering services: information necessary to support your environment, which may include user account details, device identifiers, and system logs. Where our work brings us into contact with personal information held by a client, we act as a service provider processing it on that client's instructions.
To respond to enquiries, provide and support the services you have engaged us for, understand interest in our services, protect our website and forms against spam and automated abuse, meet legal and regulatory obligations, and improve our own operations. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We collect and use personal information with your knowledge and consent, except where the law permits or requires otherwise. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice — though doing so may mean we cannot continue providing a service.
We use third-party platforms to deliver our services, including Microsoft, and security and monitoring vendors. These providers may process data outside Canada, which means it may be subject to the laws of the jurisdiction in which it is held.
Where data residency matters to you, tell us — it is a configurable choice for most of what we deploy, and we would rather discuss it before implementation than after.
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law and our professional obligations. Enquiry data from the website is retained for a limited period and then deleted if no engagement follows.
We apply the same controls to our own environment that we recommend to clients: multi-factor authentication, endpoint detection and response, encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to those who need it, and audit logging.
We hold a SOC 2 Type 2 attestation, which means an independent auditor has examined those controls over a period of time rather than us simply asserting them.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, or ask us to delete it where we have no continuing legal or contractual need to retain it.
Write to info@nfd.ca. We will respond within the timeframes set by applicable law, and will tell you if we cannot comply with a request and why.
Our website uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser; parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
Your use of this website is also governed by our Terms and Conditions. Please review them alongside this policy.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly rather than only posted here.
