Six pieces of work, written up as engineering narratives rather than testimonials: what the environment looked like, what we built, and what changed.
Every client here is named with their permission. The technical detail is the part that is useful anyway.
Each write-up follows the same four questions: what the situation was, what we did about it, what the outcome was, and what a business in a similar position might take from it. Where a number would have made a sentence stronger but we could not stand behind it, we left the number out.
Infrastructure, security, cloud, custom software and site systems, across five sectors.
Non-profit · Infrastructure modernization and security. Windows Server 2003 retired, branches linked and firewalls replaced across a single weekend, with LeaveTracker built to handle union and non-union leave rules. Read the case study
Membership association · Cloud migration and Zero Trust. A daily-crashing on-premises server replaced by private cloud, with per-resource verification in place of a flat VPN. Read the case study
Financial services · Secure application delivery and 24/7 monitoring. Applications delivered centrally, access restricted to within the province with 2FA, and a SOC watching around the clock. Read the case study
Manufacturing · High availability and custom software. Multi-site VMware high availability on enterprise storage, plus JobSight, a job management application integrated directly with Sage 300. Read the case study
Professional services · M&A integration. Acquired entities brought onto one standardized platform, with Canada-wide Citrix access, Intune-managed endpoints and a data warehouse for consolidated reporting. Read the case study
Construction · AI-powered site safety. AI cameras on an active hospital redevelopment site, with PPE detection and licence-plate recognition replacing manual spot checks. Read the case study
Two threads. The first is that the platform underneath an application usually needs to change before the application does — delivery through RDS, Citrix or private cloud let old software keep earning its place on modern, patched infrastructure. The second is that we build software when the available options do not fit: LeaveTracker and JobSight exist because generic tools would have required these organizations to change how they work.
