What follows sets out what Thrive publishes about itself on thrivenextgen.com next to what NetFusion Designs commits to. It is not a ranking, and it contains nothing about Thrive's pricing, performance or clients, because we cannot verify those and inventing them would not help you decide. The short version: Thrive is a multi-country technology outsourcing provider with offices in Toronto and Ottawa and data centres of its own in Canada. NetFusion Designs is a North American provider headquartered in Ontario, with eight offices, a round-the-clock staffed desk, and its own data centre in Cambridge, Ontario from which it provides hosted Citrix, Microsoft RDS and infrastructure hosting. Both run Canadian infrastructure. The differences that actually matter are where each has its own offices, and the shape of the infrastructure product each sells.
Thrive's locations page lists an office at 3080 Yonge Street in Toronto and an office at 436 Hazeldean Road in Kanata, Ottawa, and states that the company has locations “across the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and Asia”.
Its services page lists managed cybersecurity, managed cloud, managed Microsoft 365, disaster recovery as a service and global network management. Thrive describes its approach as “proactive monitoring, maintenance, and mitigation, backed by top-notch support and our 24x7x365 Network Operations Center”, and refers to a delivery methodology it calls Thrive5. The same page names the sectors it serves, including financial services, government, healthcare, legal, life sciences, professional services, retail, education, aerospace and defense, and social housing.
Thrive also runs its own Canadian infrastructure. Its Canadian colocation page describes “SOC 2 Type II certified data centers in Canada” and identifies data centre locations including Markham and Montreal, with features listed as “real-time monitoring and 24x7x365 onsite security”, biometric access controls and perimeter monitoring.
That is a genuinely deep platform, and for the right buyer it is difficult to replicate. We would not pretend otherwise.

The following is what NetFusion Designs commits to. It is not a statement that Thrive does less — their own offices reach more continents than ours — it is what we put in writing for the businesses we serve.
Several situations point clearly to Thrive rather than to us.
The clearest is where its own people physically are. Thrive's locations page lists offices across the US, UK, Canada, Australia and Asia. NetFusion Designs has eight offices in Canada and the United States, and supports clients at international sites in Australia, Egypt and the Philippines, where onsite attendance is arranged locally rather than delivered from an office of our own in those countries. If you want the provider's own staff based in your country and time zone rather than attendance arranged into it, Thrive's footprint does something ours does not, and that is a sound reason to choose them.
Infrastructure, on the other hand, is not the dividing line it might first appear to be. Thrive publishes SOC 2 Type II certified data centres in Canada, including Markham and Montreal. NetFusion Designs owns and operates its own Canadian data centre in Cambridge, Ontario and provides hosted Citrix, Microsoft RDS and infrastructure hosting from Canadian data centres. Both of us can keep your workloads in Canada. Where the products genuinely differ is colocation: if what you want is to place hardware you own and control inside someone else's facility, Thrive publishes that as a service and we do not. Compare on your workload, your residency obligations and the commercial terms rather than on whether Canadian capacity exists at all.
And if your buying committee is looking for a formal, named delivery methodology and a large security operation with published certifications on the infrastructure itself, that is exactly what Thrive has built.
Where we would encourage a smaller Ontario business to think carefully is fit of shape rather than quality. If you are a forty-person firm whose real need is someone who answers the phone, knows your accounting system and can be on site within the hour, a global outsourcing platform may be more capability than you will use. That is not a criticism of Thrive — it is just a different buying problem, and it is worth being honest about which one you have.
